Edinburgh Derby Scottish Cup showdown to feature LIVE on BBC Scotland

BBC Scotland have announced that our Scottish Cup Round 4 home tie against Heart of Midlothian will be their Saturday afternoon featured live televised game.

Kick-off at Ainslie Park will be 12.15pm.

Since the draw was made, we have – unsurprisingly – been inundated with enquiries about the ticket arrangements.

We are meeting with Hearts and the relevant authorities this week to discuss all Match Day arrangements, including ticketing.

The Spartans allocation of tickets will not be going on public sale.  Demand has already outstripped the likely number of tickets available therefore we will sell tickets through allocations to season ticket holders, our Youth Section/Community Programmes, sponsors, shareholders plus players and coaches.  

There will be a limited number of hospitality tickets available for both sets of supporters.  Our regular hospitality guests will, naturally, receive priority.

We will issue a further update in the next 5 – 7 days.
