Lowland League | Christmas Gala event under the festive lights

The Spartans are finally back in action as they head to the Borders for a Friday night encounter of the Christmas kind where they take on Gala Fairydean Rovers in the Lowland League.

After two weeks of being frozen out in the festive frosty conditions and they head to the Borders looking to add to their three match unbeaten but breaking the cycle of drawing in the process.

The extra time on the sidelines will have allowed players on the Ainslie Park treatment table to enhance recovery without missing out on more match time, aiding Gaffer Dougie Samuel’s selection conundrum against the Netherdale side.

Kick-off is 7.45pm. Admission prices are £10 Adults, £5 Concessions and Under 16s pay a pound. The cafe and bar will be open too.
