Lowland League | Spartans out to make cross-border points bid in BerwickThe Spartans make the trip across the Border on Saturday to take on Berwick Rangers in their final away day of the 2021-22 Clarke ePOS Lowland League campaign. Dougie Samuel takes his side on the road again after an enthralling seven goal South Challenge Cup clash last week and will be looking for three points in this cross-border clash against Berwick. Whilst its the third season the sides have locked horns in the Lowland League, this will be first time the two will have met in the competition at Shielfield Park. Spartans have a 100% success rate from fixtures in the Capital, recording a trio of victories, each by a single goal margin. Spartans head into the game in 5th spot, one place above the men from across Hadrian’s Wall however there are nine points between the two with a game in hand for the visitors too. A victory would keep the pressure on for the race for second place. Kick-off at Shielfield Park is 3pm. Admission £11 Adults, £6 Concessions. These can be purchased in advance via the Fanbase app. |
