Lowland League | Centaur stage for Friday night Spartans against ColtsIt’s another Friday night under the lights outing for Dougie Samuel’s Spartans as they head into December and off to Cumbernauld to take on the Colts in what is their 200th Lowland League fixture. With 20 November goals under their belts, Spartans go into the game with four wins out of the last five outings, looking to maintain the momentum and boost their ladder placing, knowing a win could move them up to 6th spot, if only potentially for 24 hours until the rest of the pack lock horns. Friday night is the 11th meeting between the sides. Spartans top the ‘tale of the tape’ with 7 wins, the hosts with two victories – back to back in 2016-17, with one fixture ending in a stalemate. As lockdown continues, the match, in Tier 4 North Lanarkshire, isn’t open to spectators however the hosts will be showing the game live for a fiver . We’ve heard good things about the young lads doing the commentary so why not tune in a watch the match! The fixture is Spartans 200th in Lowland League. Here’s how we have performed so far:
