Shot-stopper Stone heads home on loan from HeartsFormer Spartans Youth Keeper Harry Stone has returned to Ainslie Park on loan until January. The highly-rated 18 year old joins the squad on the back of an innocuous injury to Blair Carswell at Gala in midweek which resigns the No.1 to the treatment table for the interim. Stone recently committing his future to Hearts until at least 2023 by signing a new deal and experience between the sticks in the Lowland League will certainly do his chances at Tynecastle no harm. Stone kept a clean sheet in his only appearance for Stirling Albion whilst on an emergency loan deal recently, holding League Two title favourites Queen’s Park at bay. Stone will be reunited with his old team mate Keir Russell – the two starred in their u14s side’s Cup success at Tynecastle back in 2016 (jeez – writing that doesn’t half make you feel old – Ed). |
