GeoSonic Lowland League: Spartans set for French test in Annan

Spartans head to Annan to take on French Students EduSport Academy in the latest round of GeoSonic Lowland League fixtures, with Dougie Samuel keen to land three valuable points on the road.

Last time out at Ainslie Park, it was the visitors who snatched a late equaliser after Stephen MacDonald opened the scoring in one of Spartans’ seven draws this campaign.

MacDonald will be in the squad for the 160 mile round trip as will Alan Brown who returns following injury.

Kick-off is 3pm at Annan FC’s GalaBank Stadium.

Meanwhile, our Under 20’s secured a win in Lockerbie on Friday evening with goals from Mikey Allan and Oran Hosey in a 0-2 victory over Mid Annandale.
