GeoSonic Lowland League: New signing Scott in squad for battle with BSC

After back to back draws in the GeoSonic Lowland League, Spartans will look to get back to winning ways when they take on BSC Glasgow at Ainslie Park on Saturday afternoon.

The business end of the table is a familiar battle zone for the two sides and this weekend is no different as the hosts look to narrow the gap on BSC who occupy second spot whilst having played ninety minutes more than Dougie Samuel’s men.  It was the a five goal thriller last time out in Alloa and another humdinger is on the cards.

New signing Aaron Scott will be in the Ainslie Park squad after signing earlier this week til the end of next season.  The former Hibs and Hearts u20s midfielder is a former Scotland age-grade Internationalist with appearances in the 15s, 16s and 17s plus spells in Gibraltar and laterally, USA.

Last week saw Blair Tolmie join an elite group of Spartans players having made his 100th appearance for the Club.  Scott Maxwell will join him shortly, currently sitting on 98.
