Lowland League: Sammy’s Spartans set for Sludden Shire showdown

Spartans head to Ochilview this Saturday to take on East Stirlingshire in the Ferrari Packaging Lowland League in what promises to be a tough encounter against John Sludden’s men in what will be the first between the sides this season.

Both clubs will go into the game in confident mood, undefeated during the month of March, albeit with Spartans having completed twice as many matches as their hosts.

With the late cancellation of Wednesday’s game in Dalbeattie, Dougie Samuel has no additional personnel availability challenges to consider ahead of his squad selection.
