Lowland League: Spartans head to Rosewell

Spartans head to Rosewell to take on old friends Whitehill Welfare this afternoon in the latest round of Ferrari Packaging Lowland League fixtures.

After avoiding a potential banana skin moment in Hawick midweek, it’s another tough encounter against a side who don’t befit their 12th place spot in the table and offer a warm welcome to their opponents on each occasion.

Dougie Samuel welcomes the return of Ross Allum to the squad following recent work commitments and David Greenhill is back from a belly bug that laid him low recently.  Ian McFarland and Ross Guthrie continue to sit on the sidelines however there will be one additional name in contention for a place on the team sheet…

The match at Ferguson Park kicks off at 3pm.  Admission for today’s game is £6 / £4.
