For the sixth year in succession, Spartans are offering football fans the opportunity to watch football for free in return for a donation of items that will be distributed amongst foodbank projects across the local community.

Entry is FREE for all supporters who ‘Donate at the Gate’ on Saturday when we take on Selkirk in the Ferrari Packaging Lowland League.

Santa Spartan will be on hand to collect donations on behalf of the Spartans Community Football Academy as they set out to pull together packs of essentials for the local Granton Baptist Church and the Trussell Trust in the North Edinburgh community.

Kind hearted fans are asked to pop in a present and the Club will wrap it up in time to give to Santa to deliver on Christmas Day. Everyday items such as toothpaste, deodorant, shower gel, basic clothing items and non-perishable foods are welcome.  If you need ideas of what to donate to our annual Christmas foodbank collection, here’s a great guide: https://www.trusselltrust.org/get-help/emergency-food/food-parcel/

Alternatively, admission to the game will be £7 Adults, £3 Concessions, U16s Free as standard.
