Signing News: Further Ins and Outs from the summer announcedThere has been further player movement at Ainslie Park over the last few days.Signing on dotted line at Spartans: Brad Raiker. The 21 year old has signed again for the season and will head out to Craigroyston on loan. Last season Brad suffered with a number of injuries which curtailed his loan spell at Vale of Leithen. He will benefit from a regular run of games and Craigroyston, with our ex EoS XI manager Colin Tomassi on their coaching staff. The small trip along Ferry Road will give him a great platform to get back to full fitness. Brandon Archibald. Still with Under 20s years on the clock, the 18 year old has signed his second professional contract after doing very well in his pre season outings with the 1st XI. Whilst he is still legible for Les Atkinson’s Friday night outings, Brandon certainly has the strength and skills to play in the 1st XI.< Dachi Khutsishvili. Former Georgian age-grade Internationalist Dachi grew up in Milan and represented his country at U17 level before moving to the UK. His football career in Scotland has largely been one of the Highland nature, having played for ICT u20s, Elgin and more notably, for Forres Mechanics. The 23 year old brings a competitive edge to the midfield area where he has found the net during pre-season. Meanwhile, leaving the Club is 21 year old Andy Mair. Andy has been sold to Civil Service Strollers after spending April and May on loan with them last season. Andy came through the Spartans Youth set up and although it is disappointing to see him go he was very keen to be a regular starter. He still has the best of his footballing years ahead of him and we wish him well, although obviously not when playing against us! Another of our former u20s graduates Johnny Grotlin has gone on loan to Preston Athletic. Johnny will be an asset to his home town team who find themselves in the East of Scotland league following their relegation from the Lowland League last year. |
