Lowland League: Preston provide Tuesday tussle test

Spartans welcome Preston Athletic to Ainslie Park tonight looking to recreate the form that saw them win 9-1 against Hawick Royal Albert last time out at home.

Back-to-back away defeats on the road have been an unhelpful distraction however Dougie Samuel’s side will be keen for a vocal Spartan Army support in the stand to be that all important twelfth man.

With no additional players finding themselves on the treatment table following Saturday’s game at Saughton, Samuel will once again put his faith in a squad that are still very much battling in the business end of the Ferrari Packaging sponsored Lowland League table.
