Spartans Community Football Academy Charity Dinner

The Annual Spartans Community Football Academy Charity Dinner takes place this Thursday at Prestonfield House.

This sell-out event once again sees Radio Scotland Sportsound’s velvet voiced Richard Gordon as MC and there’s a special guest appearance from Alan Hansen, the former Partick, Liverpool and Scotland star who made his name as a pundit on Match of the Day spanning some 22 years!

You might also want to watch the video that the Charity premiered in 2014 which showcases the work they undertake and how it changes lives.  There was 12 minutes of silence from the hundreds in attendance as the thought-provoking and insightful footage highlighted the work the Academy does across the community.   Last year’s main guest Graeme Souness described the video as ’emotional’.
