Play it again, Sam! Former Manager returns in Youth Development Lynch-pin role

Posted on Sunday, February 1st, 2015

We are delighted to welcome back Sam Lynch to an official role at the club.  Sam was our hugely successful 1st XI manager on his own and with a number of co-managers for over 15 seasons.

His new role will be a scouting and player development role across the older 11 a side teams in our youth section working with the coaches to identify our high potential players and agree development plans for them.  He will also be working closely with Stuart Gray and Les Atkinson.

Club Director Phil Hobbins said “This is a great opportunity to bring Sam back into the set up where he will undoubtedly add his experience to our development set-up.  Sam is excited about the new role and will be able to provide us with real focus on our Youth, helping with talent recognition and development. “
