Sammy Hopes to Carry Midweek Form to Ferguson ParkA trip to Rosewell this weekend follows hot on the heels of the midweek victory over Selkirk at Ainslie Park. Manager Dougie Samuel was pleased at the way his players bounced back from last weekend’s defeat away to Gretna 2008 and Wednesday’s win moved us onto 13 points, along with 3 other sides, including tomorrow’s hosts Whitehill Welfare. The Rosewell side are once again showing why they are one of the favourites to win the lowland league this season, and are one of only two unbeaten teams left. They come into the game in a confident mood following a hard fought draw against table topping Edinburgh City at Meadowbank during the week. On the injury front we are still without Michael Herd, Iain Thomson, Robbie Ross and Ally MacKinnon (more info on them to follow later). It was good to see both John Grant and Keith McLeod back in action during the week and Dougie Samuel will be hoping for a similar level of performance from them both as well as the rest of the team, if we hope to leave Ferguson Park with the points tomorrow. |
