Raith XI head to the Academy for Tuesday night friendlyA Raith Rovers XI head to Ainslie Park tomorrow night (Tuesday, 7.30pm) as the pre-season campaign gets into full swing.Grant Murray’s men travel across the Forth Bridge for this midweek friendly that will see both sides use the 90 minutes as valuable game time ahead of their respective Ramsdens Cup 1st Round ties this weekend. For Dougie Samuel, the game is another integral piece in his pre-season jigsaw, “Tuesday’s game will be an excellent workout for us. We’ll be playing against full-time players which will be great preparation for Saturday’s clash v Queen of the South. “We are certainly pushing our players and asking a lot of the them, but it’s all about preparing them for the new challenge that is the Lowland League and come the start of the season, we’ll hopefully reap the benefit of a strenuous and challenging pre-season schedule.” Admission prices are Adults £5, Concessions £3, Under 12’s Free. Season Tickets are also available on the night, offering affordable football for all, at just £50 for Adults and £25 for Concessions, with all Under 12’s FREE. |
