Hot Legs for Old Boys

The Spartans Old Boys are head down to Epping this weekend for their challenge match against the Vagabond Old Boys, Rod Stewart’s team.

The game is being played on the immaculate pitch in Rod’s garden on Sunday morning with an 11am ko. International Superstar Rod and Scotland Manager, Gordon Strachan are both playing for the Vagabonds, with a few other ex pro’s as well.

Our illustrious squad will be skippered by Brian Hutton with the weekend part of his 60th birthday celebrations.

The Spartans squad: Drabble, Irvine, Samuel, Burns, Cunningham, Gray, Hoy, Ford, Hobbins, Brown, Hutton, Cowie, Nixon, Mitchell, Palmer, Kirkpatrick, Wallace, McCall, Sutherland, Graham.

Messrs Rodier, McCabe and Whitelock will form the coaching team.
