Losing Sunday

Our 19s went out of the Scottish Youth Cup this afternoon, losing 3 – 1 to Partick Thistle at Firhill.
Partick scored after 25 minutes but Haydn Crane equalised in 35 minutes when he ran onto a through ball and finished well. Partick had more of the ball but we looked dangerous on he break but just before half time Partick took the lead. Both teams hit the woodwork early in the second half. As the half progressed we were looking threatening but on a couple of occasions our final ball didn’t come off. Partick scored a third with two minutes to go as we were caught with two defenders against four forwards.
Our Women’s team were all square with Celtic at half time in an even game however Celtic dominated after the break and scored here times without reply.
