Scottish Cup action

Posted on Wednesday, August 22nd, 2012

We’re gearing up for our first round Scottish Cup game against Wick Academy on Saturday. This is our first ever game against Wick and our first against HFL opposition at home since 2003 when we played Buckie Thistle in Round 1 action. Before Saturday Wick were top of the HFL and had given Raith Rovers a run for their money in the Ramsdens Cup.

The game kicks off at 3pm. Admission has been agreed with Wick at £8 for adults and £5 for students, OAPs and Under 18s. Included in the admission price is free entry to the half time raffle draw. As it is a Scottish Cup game season tickets are not valid. Our normal match day programme will be available at £1.50.

The new cafe/bar will be fully operational with the new space in the extension set aside for committee and season ticket holders.

In other Seniors news we have drawn Preston Athletic away in Round 1 of the South Challenge Cup. The winner plays Duns or Edinburgh City at home in Round 2. Also we have postponed our league game against Heriot Watt University initially arranged for Tuesday 11th September, the new date has yet to be agreed.
