Juniors lose last game of the season, 16s win cup final, 19s win final league game

The Juniors lost 3 – 0 to Tranent in our last game of the season. We finished the season with 36 points from 28 games, just below mid table and in a similar position to last season. It was a very credible season for such a young team with notable highlights our first competitive win over Super league opposition when we beat Lochee United in he East of Scotland Cup, and away league wins at Fauldhouse and Tranent.
Tonight our 16s beat Hutchison Vale 3 – 1 on penalties after a 0 – 0 draw to win the Jackie Faichney Memorial Trophy. Well done to Les, Keith and the players. A couple more cup finals for our Youth teams at the Academy next week.
Our EoS 19s won their last league game of the season 5 – 1 down at Gala tonight. We have a cup final to look forward to on Sunday 27th against league winners Craigroyston.
