Great win for Womens XI and 19s pick up three points

Congratulations to our Womens team who beat Celtic 2 – 1 today to clinch second place in the SWPL. Being second matches our best ever performance after a great second half to the season. We scored two first half goals through Hayley Lauder and Sarah Ewings to lead at the break. Celtic pulled one back early in the second half and we had to defend well to hold them out. Head Coach Debbi McCulloch was delighted “we didn’t play well but battled really hard. Our team spirit on and off the pitch has been superb and we’re already looking forward to next season, even although it doesn’t start until March!”.
The 19s beat Heriot Watt Uni 1 – 0 with a goal from Shaun Ford.
