Looking forward to tomorrow and cup draws

Posted on Friday, October 21st, 2011

Scottish Cup time again tomorrow and a trip to Peterculter.  Only Jack Beesley will miss out due to injury so the line up will be along similar lines to the last few games.  We’re expecting about 50 supporters to make the trip although with red being the normal colours for both teams to differentiate the sets of fans.  The cyclists will be the Spartans fans!

Culter have been playing well and scoring for fun in recent games so it may well be a high scoring encounter for those looking at their fixed odds coupons.

The Juniors have a free Saturday tomorrow while the Amateurs are in league action on the new stadium pitch at the Academy with a 3pm ko.

Two cup draws to report.  The Seniors have a home tie on 12th November against Eyemouth United in the South Challenge Cup, Eyemouth’s first visit to Ainslie Park as we continue to try and retain the trophy.

The Juniors have drawn Crossgates or Arniston at home in Round 2 of the East of Scotland Cup after our excellent Round 1 win at Lochee United.
