Management thoughts on a run out against SFL opposition on our new surface

Mike says –

“After an hour it was 0-0 and we’d created more clear cut chances than our SFL opponents. Should Sam and I have left well alone or should we have given everyone stripped some time on our new surface against quality opposition. As well as game time for Keith McLeod and Ali MacKinnon Sam and I have to decide on which keeper sits on our “Scottish” bench and which two Under 21 players will accompany him. That’s not quite right as Jordan Finnie is now a bona fide first team player and will be involved against Culter but it was a good chance to see everyone and run an eye over the Donnelly brothers.

It was also a chance to meet old friends in Kevin Motion, two sets of Campbell brothers and John Young who Sam and I have known for many a year. It was a great exercise, a great deal more revealing than training and all without Gavin Mailn, Robbie Manson and Jack Beesley.”
