The Juniors secured an impressive 2-2 draw with East of Scotland Premier side, Edinburgh City.

The game saw a number of young players and a couple of trailists take part in what was a hot and glorious day at the Academy.

We took the lead early in the first half when Sean Wringe did brilliantly to dribble into the box, get past his marker and lay the ball off to Adam Perry who fired home.

City equalised a few minutes later. A corner to the back post was headed back along the goal line and headed home to being the scores level.

City then took the lead right on the stroke of half time with an impressive striker from Michael Dick.

Sean Wringe then turned goal scorer to bring the game level mid way through the 2nd half, firing home from close range following a great cross from A trialist.

Both teams had chances to seal the victory but both keepers made good saves and the game ended as a draw.

The Juniors now open their league cup campaign away to Bonnyrigg Rose on wednesday night. Kick off is at 7pm.

Team: Jackson, Fraser, Bissett (Trialist), S Thompson, Cruickshank, Milligan, Stewart (Trialist), Hunter (Halliday), Wringe, Cunningham(Rooney) , Perry (Roberts)
