Academy clubhouse extension – planning consent approved

Our local planning department today gave us approval for our extension to the clubhouse. The extension will have two changing rooms downstairs with additional storage. Upstairs the club room will double in size with a flexible dividing wall. The catering facilities will be improved and the bar extended. The work will either start in the Autumn this year or early next year depending on our funding arrangements.
Also included in the planning consent is a covered enclosure running the length of the West terrace behind the dugouts. This development isn’t planned for the near future but allows us to do the work without delay if we need to.
