Neil Doncaster pays a visit to the Academy

SPL Chief Executive Neil Doncaster came down to the Academy today for a tour and a discussion with Craig Graham and John McCabe about Scottish football in general and the SFA’s drive to put a league pyramid structure in place.  Neil firmly believes the changes to the SFA voted through this week will accelerate change and with Neil, Stewart Regan, Campbell Ogilvie and Rod Petrie all pushing strongly for a pyramid structure it is perhaps closer than we might think.  Jim Ballantyne from the SFL was also supportive during his campaign for the SFA 2nd Vice President so hopefully strong momentum will turn into action.  Neil firmly believes a play off system between the foot of SFL3 and non league football would add great publicity and help invigorate football at that level.
