Chris Townsley moves to Berwick Rangers

Chris has decided to move back to the SFL with Berwick Rangers.  We wish Chris all the very best.  Chris said “I’ve had a great time at Spartans however the chance to play more competitive football is an attraction.”   Co-manager Mike Lawson said “we’re naturally sorry to see Chris go however we have a number of options and have a couple of very good defensive players keen to come to Spartans”. 

Chris has had a great season with us and its great to see him and Ross Archibald along with John Dodds from Selkirk up for the player of the year at tomorrow night’s EoS Player of the Year dinner.
