Gavin Malin in British Students squad

Gavin has been selected for the British team in the World Student games to take place in China for 3 weeks in August this Summer. This is a fantastic achievement for Gavin and great recognition of his hard work both at Spartans and at HWU. We’re not sure what positioned he has been selected for but we’re sure he will show the same enthusiasm wherever it is, just like when he does when selected for us somewhere other than his first choice!!
The full squad has not yet been announced, hopefully there will be a couple more from Scotland. The last Scotland player to play in the World Student Games was David Weir in 1983!
Stewart Fowlie will also be heading out in a managerial role.
