Wins for both the Seniors and Juniors.

The Seniors rounded off our league campaign with a 1 – 0 win over Whitehill Welfare at Rosewell to win the league by a record breaking margin.

We had the bulk of the possession in the first half but couldnt open the scoring, Ross Archibald coming closest after 30 minutes with a header saved at point black range by their ‘keeper.  We didn’t keep the ball as well in the second half but continued to create chances.  Ross again missed a header before he crossed for Keith McLeod to head home from 8 yards after 67 minutes.  Their ‘keeper again came to the rescue when he leapt to keep out an Alex King effort but in the last ten minutes Whitehill put us under real pressure.  Chris Flockhart blocked two efforts in close succession before the hit the crossbar in the final minute.  Alex King picked up our man of the match award for a tireless effort in midfield. Team: Flockhart, Archibald, Fowlie (Hoskins 64), Gerrard, Sivewright, King, McAuley, Malin (Henretty 64), Kader, McLeod, Smith (O’Donnel 64) Sub not used: McGarrie
