It’s been another long day at our Sportsman’s Lunch but everyone was in great form after yesterday’s performance in Annan.  The photos in todays paper were great although we didnt think the coverage reflected our performance.  Two great goals from Gavin and Ross which were profiled all night on Sky Sports News.  We did look under threat from set pieces so it was ironic that it was us who won the game from a great Robbie free kick which Ross met to flick it in the net.  Gavin’s goal was a screamer, he had scored a couple of similar ones last season for the 2s, but it was the first time our 1s fans had seen Gav’s shooting prowess.

It’s off to Elgin for the next round, before then Mike has already emailed the players to remind them of the critical league game at Coldstream next Saturday.

The 2s had a fine 3 – 2 win over Links Utd in the third round of the Scottish Amateur Cup with Paul Sutherland, Jordan Steele and Keith Boyes scoring.

The 3s went down 3 – 2 to Newcraighall in the league with goals from Mark Robertson and Bryan Hawkins.
