New Signing: Mark Stowe joins The Spartans

The Spartans are delighted to announce the signing of Mark Stowe from League One side Arbroath FC.

Mark makes the move from the Lichties where he made 41 appearances during his stay at Gayfield, including last season’s Scottish Cup against Spartans.

After putting pen to paper at Ainslie Park, the 25 year old winger said, “I’m delighted to sign for Spartans. I spoke to the manager last week & was really impressed by the whole project they have going on here.

“The system & the style of football Spartans adopt also suits me as a player, which naturally played a big part in me wanting to coming here. I can’t wait to get started.”

Gaffer Douglas Samuel added “It’s a real pleasure to bring Mark on board. He’s someone who is a good age and has his best years in front of him.

“Crucially after speaking to him, he has a burning desire and hunger to do well. He’s a great fit for us and will bring increased competition for places and options at the top end of the pitch.”
