Spartans comment re Lowland League expansion vote

In response to the recent vote and subsequent media and online coverage, The Spartans Board have issued the following comment:

“Although we voted for a 16 team set up we welcome the three B teams into the Lowland League this season. 

“We also welcome the reinvigorated pyramid review group and the opportunity to have a fairer league structure across Scottish football.

“Now we channel our energies into preparing for the season ahead.”
