McCrory-Irving returns to Ainslie Park

Spartans FC are delighted to announce the return to Ainslie Park of talented midfielder Scott McCrory-Irving who signs from Penicuik Athletic.

A former stalwart in Les Atkinson’s Under 20s side, Scott went on to join fellow Lowland League outfit Edinburgh University where he studying Sociology and Psychology.

He made the transition from Seniors to Juniors at the beginning of season 2017/18 with a move to Penicuik where he played 107 times and finding the net on 11 occasions.

An HR Consultant for Edinburgh-based firm Navigator, we are confident Scott will guide the team towards adding to the silverware he won during his previous spell here, when he lifted the Youth Scottish Cup back in 2013. 

Scott was also named the Under 19s Player of the Year back in 2013/14 season.
