Lowland League | Win against Colts can spur Spartans into stable positionAfter a fine three match unbeaten run came to and end in Fife during the week, The Spartans have the opportunity to show their bouncebackability credentials in front of their home support when they welcome Cumbernauld Colts to Ainslie Park. With a game in hand over the visitors, a victory for Dougie Samuel’s side would see them leapfrog the North Lanarkshire outfit who will be keen to improve on their no scoring draw at Gretna on Wednesday evening. Leeroy Makovora is back in contention for a place in the squad following his one match suspension. Kick-off is 3pm. Admission £7 Adults, £4 Concessions. Under 16s Free. Meanwhile, Les Atkinson’s Under 20s will look to build on their opening day win when they head across the M8 to take on Upper Annandale on Friday evening at New Tinto Park, the home of Benburb Juniors in Glasgow’s Govan area. 8pm ko. |
