Makovora makes move across town on loan deal

Heart of Midlothian FC youngster Leeroy Makovora has today joined Spartans FC on loan until January 2020.

The 17-year-old will immediately join up with Dougie Samuel’s squad but will remain eligible to feature for Hearts Colts & Reserve teams for the duration of his loan period.

The Tranent born striker made his Hearts debut in the final game of the 2017/18 season and will now look to gain valuable first team experience at Ainslie Park.

Leeroy’s arrival comes following the news that Jack Smith will face a 12 week stint on the treatment table after sustaining an injury in our recent Tunnock’s Caramel Wafer fixture against Motherwell.
