Lowland League | Waterlogging woes as season opener postponed

Spartans remain undefeated in the 2019/20 Lowland League campaign after our opener with University of Stirling was postponed due to the surface at Forthbank Stadium being overwhelmed by the levels of rain that had fallen in the area.

With both teams poised like a hungry greyhound awaiting the hare to be released from the traps, the Match Officials made a decidedly sensible decision and the kit was packed back on the minibus for the early return to Spartans HQ.

All eyes now turn to Tuesday evening, when we welcome BSC Glasgow to Ainslie Park.
