Posted on Friday, April 26th, 2019

The Spartans embark upon their Lowland League Cup silverware ambitions when the welcome Barry Ferguson’s Kelty Hearts to Ainslie Park for the second Friday night under the lights showdown in just over a month.

Both clashes between the sides in league duty this season have been tight affairs, with the first game drawn in November whilst last month, Blair Atkinson grabbed a late winner in what proved to be a vital three points which contributed to his side’s fourth spot finish thus ensuring entry to next year’s Irn Bru Cup.

It promises to be another close fought encounter against the Fifers who have former Spartan striker Errol Douglas now touting his trade in the defensive trenches.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.  Affordable football for all sees admission remain at £7 Adults, £4 Concessions and Under 16s can attend for free.

It promises to be a cracking cup tie to kick start the weekend and it’s affordable football
