GeoSonic Lowland League | Star turn required for full three points in Dalbeattie

Posted on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019

Fourth placed Spartans head to Dumfriesshire this weekend where they meet Dalbeattie Star in another key match for both sides at their respective ends of the GeoSonic Lowland League table.

For Dougie Samuel’s Spartans, recent results have engineered an end of season return to form with an smattering of clean sheets in the process for keeper Blair Carswell too.
In what is their second substantial away day sojourn in succession, Spartans welcome back Allan Brown and Aaron Scott to the fray following their respective times on the treatment table.
The hosts will undoubtedly defy their league position over the impending ninety minutes, as we have witnessed over the life of the league so far, with a few humdingers still talked about over a pint when the two sets of supporters meet.
Kick-off at Islecroft Stadium is at 3.00pm.
