Pyramid Play-Off 2nd Leg: A call to arms – Your support can spur on Spartans tonight!

Posted on Tuesday, May 1st, 2018

Spartans will be hoping for a bumper home support to help drive the team forward as they look to claw back a four goal deficit in tonight’s SPFL Pyramid Play-Off 2nd Leg against Cove Rangers at Ainslie Park.

Despite the outcome in Inverurie, the hosts head into the match boosted by the return to the side of playmaker Jamie Dishington and with a smoother surface to offer dynamic fast flowing football, it offers Dougie Samuel’s men the opportunity to go for broke from the off to search for an early way back into the two-legged tie.

If incentive was indeed required to dust down and get back on the proverbial bike, the dangly carrot that is a Play-Off finale against the Blue Brazil of Cowdenbeath awaits tonight’s victors.   One can be rest assured the lads will give their all to offer a Lazarus-esque comeback, but certainly a challenge that is not insurmountable as we have witnessed on the continent already this season.

Due to anticipated increase in footfall for this game, the upstairs Café / Bar has been designated as a Committee / Season Ticket Holder area only.  Passes will be available from any of the Board on arrival.

Gates open at 6.30pm for this 7.45pm kick-off.  Admission is £10 adults, £5 concessions and Under 16s are Free entry.
