Lowland League: Spartans v Edusport Academy

Posted on Friday, February 16th, 2018

With honours even in the two outings between the sides in League and Cup competition so far this season, Spartans and Edusport Academy get set to lock horns once again to see who earns the bragging rights in this Lowland League clash.

Both visits to Galabank have been tight affairs with a single goal separating the sides on each occasion however perhaps more crucially for Spartans, their victory back in October came in the League with goals from Ross Allum and Jamie Dishington.

Spartans welcome the French-infused student side in yet another vital encounter as they look to keep the pressure on leaders East Kilbride.  Dougie Samuel’s side may sit nine points adrift however with four games in hand and lots of football still to play, picking up maximum points is the aim, come 3pm on Saturday.

Jack Nixon and Willie Bremner leave Gavin Malin as the sole occupant of the treatment table, with both chapping on the gaffer’s door looking for a place in the starting squad.

Admission for the game is £7 Adults, £4 Concessions and Under 16s continue to go for free.
