Lowland League: Friday night under the lights at Falkirk for University challenge

Posted on Friday, December 15th, 2017

It’s Friday night under the lights for Spartans as we take on Stirling University at Falkirk Stadium.

A victory could see us leapfrog East Kilbride into second place, albeit for 24 hours at least, as the race for top place heats up in the cold winter weeks.

Manager Dougie Samuel will be looking for his side to make it three wins on the bounce and has Dachi Khutsishvili back from loan and available for selection.  There’s also a return to the fold for Ross Guthrie however Michael Herd still remains treatment table buddies with Willie Bremner.

In other player news, Under 20s hitman Cameron Dawson has gone out on loan to Vale of Leithen to afford him more game time at senior level to enhance the talented striker’s development.

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
