Lowland League: Spartans head west to build on success at East KilbrideThe big games keep on coming for Dougie Samuel and his Spartans side as they head west to take on East Kilbride at K-Park.It’s tight at the top of the Ferrari Packaging Lowland League table as the Autumnal dark nights kick in, however the recent impressive unbeaten run for the Ainslie Park outfit has been illuminating for the Spartan Army faithful who look to emulate their title win in the inaugural season of the new competition. With just five points dropped from a possible 36 available, Samuel will be keen to continue picking up another three on the road and keep the pressure on leaders BSC Glasgow who have played one game more. Games between the two sides are always fantastic affairs, both at full and Under 20s level and Saturday’s latest encounter is expected to be no different. In squad news, Scott Wilson and Willie Bremner are out whilst Adam Corbett and Jack Nixon make a return to the side. Kick-off under the lights at K-Park is at 3pm. Admission is £6 adults, £3 concessions.
