Lowland League: Boss looks for bouncebackability against Star

After the midweek Irn Bru exploits, its back to Ferrari Packaging Lowland League action for Spartans at Ainslie Park where Dalbeattie Star are the visitors.

If last season’s encounters were anything to go by, Saturday’s eagerly anticipated fixture sees two sides who will be battling it out for the honours come the end of the campaign.

For Dougie Samuel, it’s an opportunity for bouncebackability after the last gasp goal defeat at the same venue seven days ago and he is boosted by the return of David Greenhill, Willie Bremner and Blair Atkinson.  The trio are all back in contention for places whilst Paul Thomson hopes to shake off a bug that kept him out of the squad at Coatbridge on Tuesday night.

Kick-off time is 3pm.  Admission prices remain at £7 Adults, £4 Concessions with Under 16s able to watch for free.  Affordable football for all at Ainslie Park.
