Samuel seeks sterling performance against Stirling

Posted on Friday, February 10th, 2017

It’s a second University Challenge in as many weeks for Spartans on Saturday, this time in the shape of Shelley Kerr’s Stirling side who head to Ainslie Park looking to even up the honours after Dougie Samuel’s side won the corresponding fixture on the opening night of the campaign back in July.

With the Edinburgh Derby taking place on Sunday, it’s the game to go to in the capital this weekend as Spartans look to continue to push at the top of the table as the business end of the season gathers pace.

Dougie Samuel is boosted by the return to the squad of Chris Townsley after missing out at Peffermill due to work commitments whilst Blair Tolmie is doubtful following an ankle knock in the same game.

Kick-off is 3pm.  Admission: Adults £5, Concessions £3, Under 16s
