Eddie Malone joins The Loons

The Club can announce this morning that Eddie Malone has signed for Scottish League Two outfit Forfar Athletic.

Malone, who played 59 games and 5 goals during his career at Spartans, has joined Gary Bollan’s side and may feature in their fixture against Edinburgh City at Meadowbank.

The defender is certainly no stranger to the ranks of the professional league, playing for more than a decade with the likes of St Mirren, Dundee, Clyde and Raith Rovers.

The 31 year old won’t be leaving the Academy boundaries completely as Eddie will continue to deliver his sessions for the wee ones on Sunday mornings.

We’d like to thank Eddie for his invaluable contribution to the side since joining following a sojourn to America and wish him all the very best of success with his new exciting challenge.
