Spartans look to offer no grace to Selkirk as Lowland League returnsSpartans head to Selkirk on Saturday, wary of the potential Garry O’Connor’s side have to offer, as the sides return to league duty after cup exploits last weekend. The form at Yarrow Park is with the home side, with two wins in the three Lowland League games played there since the competition began in 2013 and Spartans manager Dougie Samuel will be out to level proceedings in the away day head to heads. After a welcome return to winning ways against Leith Athletic last Saturday, Spartans head to the Borders to take on a side who have shown already this season that they can produce the goods – namely in a bizarre goal-fest against East Stirlingshire earlier this season when they won 7-4. The game kicks off at the slightly earlier time of 2pm. |
