Under 20s in League Cup Semi Final action at Broadwood

Spartans u20s head to Broadwood Stadium this evening where they take on Cumbernauld Colts in the Development League Cup Semi Final.

The two teams met in the same stage in the Challenge Cup last season, with Spartans progressing to the Final courtesy of a 3-1 aggregate win. Johnny Grotlin scored in both legs, including a penalty winner at tonight’s venue.

Both sides are equally matched in terms of league record so far this season, with the clubs sitting close to each other in a top half of the table that sees the top seven separated by just 3 points.

Kick-off is 7.45pm and entry is free.
