Spartans go for Broque ahead of Selkirk showdown

Spartans have signed Celtic starlet Broque Watson on loan ahead of their Ferrari Packaging Lowland League fixture against Selkirk and the Scotland age-grade internationalist will go straight into Dougie Samuel’s squad as the Ainslie Park side look to extend their unbeaten start to the league campaign.

The 17 year old forward will look to bring the Spartans gaffer success up top against the Yarrow Park side who will be looking for a morale boosting first win of what has been a disappointing start to the season for the Borders outfit.

Spartans squad news: Dan Ward will be out for four weeks with a hamstring injury whilst there is a hat-trick of positivity for Samuel with Keith Murray back in full contact training, Scott Maxwell has recovered from his back knock and Brad Raiker is available for selection after work commitments ruled him out of the midweek trip to Stranraer.
