Pre-Season Friendly: Early start for visit of young Saints

Posted on Tuesday, July 19th, 2016

Spartans welcome a young St Johnstone side to Ainslie Park on Tuesday night in the latest pre-season friendly as the build up to the start of the Lowland League continues.

Dougie Samuel takes his squad into the game boosted by a sure-footed performance against Musselburgh Athletic at the weekend which saw Jack Beesley find the net after coming off the bench.

The Saints Under 20s have benefitted from their successful Academy set-up and a host of players on show tonight will feature from their player pathway programme.  Also likely to feature for the Perth outfit is former Spartan George Hunter.  The striker heads to his old stomping ground on the back of scoring at Turriff on Saturday.

Kick-off is at the earlier time of 7pm tonight.  Admission £5 adults, £3 concessions.  Season Tickets are on sale – £50 adults, £25 Concessions and Under 16s can obtain their FREE pass for the year ahead.
