Announcement re East of Scotland team

After careful consideration we have decided not to have a team in the East of Scotland League for Season 16/17.

It works best for us to play in the league with a mix of experienced and development players, and for the second season in succession a number of our senior East of Scotland squad players have moved on.  In particular, Chris Anderson, Keith Boyes and Geri Rossi who we’re delighted to see having picked up key roles at Vale of Leithen.

We will increase our use of loan deals to ensure positive  development of our younger players and make good use of the over age rule in the Under 20 league.

Despite a very long list of injuries across the club last season our EoS squad did superbly well and were worthy winners of the League Cup.  Colin Tomassi and his coaching team did a great job along with invaluable support on match day from the Connections squad.
